FOUNDATION COURSE - 12th pass with proven creative abilities

ADVANCED COURSE - Any degree / diploma with proven creative and design abilities.

Entrance exam

• Written test: evaluation of applicant's creativity, precision, general and video game knowledge, analytical abilities.
• A discussion conducted by the Head of Studies and the trainers to analyse his / her personality traits and the motivation to study Video Game. A personal Portfolio is Mandatory.

The Entrance Exam for the Advanced Course in Video Game Production involves following sections:

Portfolio Guidelines

• The purpose of the portfolio presentation is to judge student's interest and inclination towards the field of video game.
• The portfolio must include the students resume.
• It could also include Board Game, Card Game, Small Videos, Game Prototype, Stories, Game concepts, Research and Music.

Tips

• Keeping oneself updated with current happenings of the video game industry, History of video Games, General Knowledge.
• The creativity test requires good written abilities coupled with a logical state of mind.

• How can I get the form?
  You need to buy the prospectus for Rs. 1000. The prospectus includes all the program details along with the entrance form.
• What are the documents required with the form?
  The documents required with the Entrance application form are-
  (a) 3 Passport size photograph
  (b) Motivation Letter (Hand written)
  (c) CV
  (d) Photocopy of class 12th Marksheet.
  
• What is the cost of the Entrance examination form?
  The cost of the form is Rs. 2000/-
• Which cities is the entrance examination being held?
  Pune, New Delhi, Kolkata, Bengaluru, Mumbai
• What is the mode of payment?
  Demand Draft - in the name of DSK Global Education & Research Pvt. Ltd.
  Cash payment at our campus

• Do we need to carry anything during the entrance exam?
  Students are required to carry their admit card and portfolio (link to portfolio requirements). All stationery is provided by us during the exam, but you can carry your own stationery if you want to.
• What is the last date for submission of the form?
  The form should be filled and submitted on or before 31^st march 2012.
• When we will get the Admit cards?
  A soft copy of the admit card will be mailed a week prior to the exam and hall tickets will be given at the venue.
• What is the duration of the exam for each school?
  The exams are for 4 - 4.5 hours, depending on the duration of the interview.
• Is the personal interview on the same day?
  Yes, it follows the written test.
• When will the results of the exam be out?
  The examination results will be out in 2 weeks after the applicant has given the entrance exam.
