Inauguration ceremony of DSK Supinfocom International Campus
The institute offers a brand new approach towards education, where professionalism is encouraged with 2 embedded internships within the course, cultural diversity owing to the huge international mix of students which promotes and facilitates cross cultural learning. Most importantly this institute gives an opportunity to Indian students to receive education of international standards without crossing borders.
Owing to these merits, its uniqueness and a detailed thought process put into the establishment of the institute, which was officially inaugurated at the hands of the President of India Smt. Pratibha Devisingh Patil, on the 2nd of December 2011. Also presiding over this function were Governor of Maharashtra Shri. K Shankarnarayanan in the august presence of the Chief Minister of Maharashtra, Shri. Prithviraj Chavan, Eminent educationist Dr. Devisingh Shekhavat, Ambassador of France to India Mr. Francois Richier, Deputy Chief Minister of Maharashtra, Shri. Ajit Pawar and Home Minister of Maharashtra, Shri. R R Patil, amongst other honorary dignitaries.
As the campus is now officially inaugurate, the visionary Mr. D.S Kulkarni, Chairman and MD, DSK Group, says "I am proud to say that with the setting up of the DSK Supinfocom International Campus, we have sown the seeds for creating not only fabulous professionals but indeed world-class entrepreneurs in not one but three of the most exciting new-age careers - Animation, Video Game Design and Industrial Design." He adds, "At DSK Supinfocom, we encourage students to become entrepreneurs, not just to become employable but also become employers." He sums up the feeling of setting up of the international campus by saying, "It has for long been my dream to give wings to the youth of our country. With DSK Supinfocom, my most dearly held dream is now coming true."
This event also had the felicitation of 5 Best in class students of the first batch passing out this year. Also as a part of the event NGOs working towards the social cause female foeticide where felicitated.
