Parent's day
The primary aim for the Parent's day is to gauge parents in the learning process of their children, it serves to show the progress the school is making as a whole and gives the chance to have a one-on-one discussion with parents about their student's performance. At DSK ISD, the parent's day starts with a presentation of student's performance where the overall performance of the batch is discussed. It is followed by individual meetings with the faculty heads and a team consisting of more trainers to discuss progress of the student. Various aspects of the student's progress like attentiveness, attendance, conduct, coping with studies are discussed. Parent's day takes place three times a year but, parents are invited to meetings as and how it is deemed necessary by the team.
Report cards
DSK ISD carries out a student evaluation every six weeks - the main purpose being to monitor the students and to provide a feedback mechanism for parents. Each student from ISD will have 6 report cards in one academic year, all of which are also sent to parents. The report card includes academic performance and an overview of other skills like timekeeping, attendance and human skills.
Evaluation of students every 6 weeks
At DSK ISD we expect students to give their 100% dedication to the academic curriculum. To that effect, students are evaluated every 6 weeks, to ensure those who are working hard are appreciated for their hard work and those who are lacking behind can have a chance to get assistance and direction from the staff. These 6 weekly evaluations are converted into report cards which are then communicated to the parents.
Who can I talk to about my child's academic performance?
Joel ALPHONSO would be the first point of contact for parents who want to find out about their child's performance and if there is a need an appropriate meeting with the respected head of studies will be arranged.
What is the scholarship available for students?
At DSK ISD, scholarships are given to 5 students each year.
- 1 student each from Foundation level from both courses: Product and Transportation
- 1 student each from Advanced level, from all three courses - Product, Transportation and Digital Design.
The criteria for the selection of students are as follows:
- Academic performance of the student judged by the respective Head of Studies.
- Annual Income of parents should be less than or equivalent to 6 lakhs.
In case your annual income is less than or equivalent to 6 lakhs you are requested to submit the income proof to the concerned person.
What is the orientation programme?
DSK ISD has an orientation day at the start of the academic year. This allows students to know their trainers and the staff in greater depth. At the orientation, students get an overview of what the year ahead will hold for them and we can eliminate a lot of problems and confusions at the very beginning of the year. Students are also oriented to the classrooms and equipment in the DSK ISD premises
Budgeting and money matters
If students are passionate about developing a successful career, we are committed to help them form their career path and realize their dream.
At DSK SIC we have devised a scholarship programme which can be availed by deserving students. We have tied up with some of the reputed Banks in India to provide student loan and hence take away some of the monetary related obstacles that we often face.
Scholarship
Two students, 1 for each level (Foundation / Advanced) will be given scholarship and the criteria for the selection is as follows:
- Annual Income of parents should be less than or equivalent to 6 lakhs.

Student Loan
We offer student loan in association with HDFC Credila, Bank of Maharashtra and Syndicate Bank.
Bank of Maharashtra provides loan since last three years at an interest rate of 11%. Syndicate Bank provides loan at the rate of 12.25% . HDFC Credila Pvt. Ltd has been providing student loan for the past 2 years and the rate of interest varies as per the applicant's requirement of education loan.
