What are my job prospects?

DIGITAL DESIGNER

As a digital designer, one would complete the design process, speed up decision making and take care of data communication to engineers. The digital designer is an expert in 3D surface modeling and rendering, working closely with designers and engineers. In the design process, right from conceptualization by the Transportation or Product Designer, he is in charge of building and defining the volume, using accurate and highly detailed surfaces.

PRODUCT DESIGNER

In a company, the product designer is the one who re-invents the future by proposing new ideas in the design process right from the brief of the marketing department, he is in charge of proposing relevant and appealing solutions. By creating new experiences for the user, Product Designer comes equipped with important expertise for the brand development: he has the power to create future best sellers.

TRANSPORTATION DESIGNER

The Transportation Designer is the one who re-invents the future by proposing new ideas. In the design process, from the brief of the marketing department, he is in charge of proposing relevant and appealing solutions. By creating new experiences for the user, Transportation Designer will carry important expertise for the brand development: he has the power to create future best seller vehicles.

At what positions can I get recruited?

After the completion of their courses in DSK International School of Design, the students can occupy various positions in the design industry. One can get recruited in generic positions like

ISD works extensively with the design industry, the faculty are all former professionals as a result there is an extensive network of companies and professionals. Furthermore, our alumni are placed globally in the design market which has resulted in an expansive network. The main benefit of the ISD network is that it is varied and can to some extent meet individual areas of interest for students. This variery is very useful to draw connections with companies where our students can ultimately be placed. Our Alumni are very active in supporting current students from ISD with the approval of the faculty.

What is the ideal career path?

For our students, the best way to guarantee a return on investment is to:

• do their last internship abroad,
• spend 3 to 5 years experience abroad,
• come back to India and to take part in the Indian market boom!
