Eligibility

Foundation Courses: 12th pass with proven creative abilities and a zeal to excel.

Advanced Courses: Any degree / diploma / certificate with proven creative and design abilities. A finished portfolio is recommended.

ISD - Format of the exam

Written test: To evaluate the applicant's creative talent, receptivity to new concepts and understanding of Industrial design culture.

Personal Interview: To discover the personality and the potential of the applicant and to evaluate his/her motivation and energy to study Industrial Design.

Portfolio Guidelines

• Portfolio for Year 1 students is not absolutely mandatory but if any proof of your creative abilities would definitely help.
• Year 3 students mandatorily need portfolio apart from having knowledge about relevant design sites and magazines.
• Drawings done by students have to be absolutely impressive and original

Improving on your drawing skills is essential and must for any student applying for the entrance exam. Therefore, start as soon as possible to draw, draw, draw and draw again. Showing your enthusiasm is the key to success.

How can I get the form?
You need to buy the prospectus for Rs. 1000. The prospectus includes all the program details along with the entrance form.

What are the documents required with the form?
The documents required with the Entrance application form are-
(a) 3 Passport size photograph
(b) Motivation Letter (Hand written)
(c) CV
(d) Photocopy of class 12th Marksheet.

What is the cost of the Entrance examination form?
The fee of the form is Rs. 2000/-

Which cities is the entrance examination being held?
Pune, New Delhi, Kolkata, Bengaluru, Mumbai

What is the mode of payment?
Demand Draft - in the name of 'DSK Global Education & Research Pvt. Ltd.
Cash payment at our campus
Online Payment - direct transfer in our HSBC account

Do we need to carry anything during the entrance exam?
Students are required to carry their admit card and portfolio (link to portfolio requirements). All stationery is provided by us during the exam, but you can carry your own stationery if you want to.

What is the last date for submission of the form?
The form should be filled and submitted on or before 31^st march 2012.

When we will get the Admit cards?
A soft copy of the admit card will be mailed a week prior to the exam and hall tickets will be given at the venue.

What is the duration of the exam for each school?
The exams are for 4 - 4.5 hours, depending on the duration of the interview.

Is the personal interview on the same day?
Yes, it follows the written test.

When will the results of the exam be out?
The examination results will be out in 2 weeks after the applicant has given the entrance exam.
